About Us

Welcome to JTFPontchartrain.org, the official website of Joint Task Force Pontchartrain. Led by Brigadier General Doug Pritt, Commander, 41st Infantry Brigade, Oregon National Guard, JTFP is a joint, combined force consisting of elements of the Oregon, Ohio and Massachusetts Army and Air National Guard.

The mission of the task force is to assist civil authorities in recovering from the disaster left by Hurricane Katrina. Mobilized on September 2nd, the task force has responsibility for one of the largest and most impacted areas of New Orleans, the Orleans Parish. We hope that this site will help to inform service members, their families, employers and communities during this time of crisis.
