41 Brigade Troops Battalion
Commanded by Major Martin Mote with Command Sergeant Major Thomas Shanley
serving as the Senior Enlisted Soldier, this Battalion is comprised of
Army Companies and attachments that bring unique skills and resources to
the 41 Infantry Brigade Combat Team. The subordinate companies include
the Headquarters Company of the Brigade; the 162 Engineer Company; the 241
Military Intelligence Company; the attached Echo Troop of the 82 Calvary;
and the attached Bravo Battery of the 2-218 Field Artillery Battalion.

The Stars and Strips were raised in honor above the campus of the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA). During the first visit of key NOCCA administrators, instructors and staff, the 41 Brigade Troops Battalion conducted a Flag raising ceremony with a Color Guard and band (with musical instruments furnished from the NOCCA collection). Many smiles were seen and hearts warmed as the National Colors were raised at the NOCCA campus.
